Grain drying developments

Mike Bennett’s association with Perry of Oakley goes back well over 25 years and during that time he has installed several Perry driers and a good deal of handling equipment.

Perry’s decision to locate a research and development drier at a fully year round commercially operated plant mean they can remain at the forefront of drier development.  This has also allowed them to develop and introduce the new Centrikleen dust extraction system that can be fitted to drier exhaust fans (not only on Perry driers too) to remove and collect 95% of visible dust and chaff.  It does not have any moving parts or additional electric motors.  http://www.perryofoakley.co.uk/centrikleen

In addition, Perry of Oakley has also developed and introduced a Light Grain and Chaff Recovery system – a pneumatically operated system installed at the base of the exhaust plenum. This system removes the need to clean out light grains and chaff from the drier exhaust plenum.  http://www.perryofoakley/?q=light-grain-chaff-recovery-system-lgcrs
